Italy is no place. No sir, it is a pure work of art. Italy is the subtle shiver you get down your spine as it gently jolts you awake. It is the candied raspberry on the top of the perfect Pana cotta. It is a walk down a cobbled street, lined with homes that could easily be a monument. No country does exquisite beauty like Italy does. It is a lifetime dream for souls across the world to look into the face of some of Michelangelo’s best work. Many people live in the hopes of finally being around the air of perfection that only Italy has.
The unlimited package of experiences in Italy is enough to last you an entire lifetime. Delicately wrapped ravioli dipped in garlic, thyme butter along with a glass of dry, red wine, is enough to keep you reeled in here for the longest time. Italy does not overpower you. It does not throw experiences at you. It subtly becomes a part of you.
We, at MLMT, have curated thousands of these experiences and have come up with a list of the most fabulous ones.

Mysteries hidden behind pompous masks. Bursts of celebration go up in the air. This two-week festival is when the whole of Venice lets their hair down and indulges in one of the biggest parties ever hosted. The streets fill with hordes of masked figures and music blows out at its loudest. The carnival lights the entire usually classy and poised city up with joyous spirit and energy.
This fest of colors began many, many years in the past, in 1162. Whatever goes wrong, the carnival must never stop. Even though some of their hardest times in the suppression in the 18th and the 19thcentury, it still went strong. Put on your elaborate costumes and hide your faces under a mask and come to join the ethereal party.

3. Pizza
Italy gave the world the wonder called pizza. It has become some sort of a staple diet now. Sure, the Americans gave it a twist, but the beauty was first made here. The pizza was first created in the quiet recluse of Naples. The valley itself speaks of tumbling, winding streets and flowers in the walls. The pizza was designed to honor Margaret of Savoy, the Queen consort of Italy. This gave birth to the Margherita.
There is a lot of talk about the origin of the pizza and what actually makes up the Neapolitan pizza. But the original still remains a pie made of dough, slathered generously with spiced tomato sauce, sprinkled with mozzarella, and garnished with a basil leaf. It is baked in a specially built wooden oven. It is not possible to stay from salivating as you walk down these roads with a distinct smell of freshly baked pizza. It is a memory to top all others.
4. Shopping
Anybody who is anybody wants to have the stamp of having shopped in Italy. If you’re visiting the country, go with a mindset of paying extra luggage charges. You will not make it back sane. The number of cities and the number of options will drive anyone crazy. While it does get hard to focus on an area, every place has its own quirk and charm. This Roman city was wiped out by a wave of lava as the Mount Vesuvius burst in 79 A.D The place is still standing there, precisely as it was that horrid day. A blanket of ash took over the city and preserved it to the last detail.
You are bound to see some horrible but fascinating things when you step foot on the ash. People mid–scream. That sort of thing. Italy can be classy. It can be a party. But it can scare you like its nobody’s business. Going to Pompeii is a crazy ride. It is an experience that should not be missed.

The foodies have something else in store altogether. Indulge in the perfect spread that this city has in store for you.
9. Explore the Amalfi Coast
Magically suspended with a perfect blend of the warmer colors, Amalfi Coast looks like an artist sat down with his paints to create it. The route follows the natural roaring course off the coast and treats you with a rollercoaster of a ride. Complete with curves jutting out and sudden dip in the hairpin. A picturesque landscape and a breath-taking beauty; a perfect getaway for the weekends as the sweet scent of lemon harmonizes with you and refreshes you completely!

Things in Italy always end in a sweet note. After the entire array of experiences here is the dessert that we have all been waiting. Everyone loves ice cream. But that comes nowhere in comparison when you see a gelato stall on the canals of Venice and Rome. Make sure to eat at least two scopes a day, if not more. This treat is made of milk instead of cream and relatively less fattening. And the taste is just on another plane. It really is one of the most exquisite experiences for your taste buds. Make sure you get enough of it to last a lifetime.
