When to visit?
The extremes invite you to Sweden. Winters subject you to howling wolves and an aura unheard of. The Sami festivals in the winter show you how life is to be lived. Skate across frozen lakes and into happiness. June to August brings the coast and seafood delights. Explore the sun in this frozen dessert. December celebrates smiles and warm food lit by candles, wines sipped on and guitars strung.
Average cost per person
A flight to Sweden from India would cost you about 40,000 t0 50,000 rupees. Sweden is not a particularly cheap place to live in. This is one reason that people decide against going here. But, it is one of the most beautiful spots in the world. The transport can be cut down by getting a metro card in the beginning. Also, the food and drinks are quite high so try to have the cheapest local food to reduce costs. If you plan to go out a lot, it can go up to about 1 lakh 25,000 rupees. But, believe us, it is worth that and more.
Visa Requirements
Visa in Sweden falls under the Schengen system of Visa. Hence now you can get an entry with passport directly to about 25 different European state countries. The Schengen type visas have a very defined process that is used. There are different types and conditions for Visas. You can apply to different kinds of permission based on employed, self-employed, retired and students. You have to submit the employment certificates and college certificates.

Before coming to Visby make sure your cameras are charged fully because not only will this place be a treat for your eyes, you will want to take it home. You will walk in the lanes that lead to everywhere and nowhere at once, flowers sprouting from cracks in the road. Hauntingly beautiful Gothic ruins giving you chills at every corner. The 12th Century could come back here and sit in awe at how they have preserved the essence.

Tree Hotel
This is not a big thing only in Sweden but everywhere in the world. It is a bunch of tree houses that mimic spaceships that hover in the forest. It is a mirrored box that shows all of the woods on it. It is one of the top luxury experiences you will ever have. It is a must visit.
Museum of Failure
Sweden might have given rise to an entire world of innovation and success, but they know what it took them to reach there. The known that without learning from failure you cannot achieve the final outcome. To give a tribute to this cause, there is a museum here that is a collection of many significant shortcomings and learning.
Car Cemetery
This is interestingly Europe’s biggest car cemetery. Apparently, cars need burying too. This is found in the pine trees of Bastnas. This shift apparently happened when Sweden switched from driving on the left-hand side of the road to the right. There are more than a thousand cars scattered around here.
Telefonplan Tower
This is a permanent installation, Colours by number in Stockholm. It is a result of collaboration between interaction designer Loove Broms and others. It is a tower with lights that can be changed by anyone who has a mobile app of the same. The random creative urges that people get from their walk back home from bars get converted to juices here.
Rondellhund
Vandalism sometimes takes a different turn and reminds us all of the kind, gentle humans that exist. There was a concrete dog a part of an installation called Circulation 2 that was vandalized. One day a wooden dog showed up near the roundabout, and then this became a thing. The dogs started showing up everywhere in Sweden and even moved itself to the USA and Australia.

The people here are mad for taking coffee breaks. Their one true love is Fika. This is not just a break with coffee accompanied by a sweet biscuit. It is a time to slow down from the fast life and notice and enjoy life at its best. Everyone should be doing more of this. Great coffee is no issue here in Sweden.
- Ikea Life
Their approach to life mimics this favorite Sweden brand. It is all do-it-yourself. Do not expect a doorman to pick up your bags or do any small jobs for you. The government provides such great things that small jobs with small benefits don’t make sense.
- Acceptance
Sweden has dealt with equality. Here, everything is happy. Everyone is taken care of. Even dogs. A dog cannot be left alone for more than 6 hours at once. The maternity leaves and leaves for men and same-sex parent leaves are decided and regulated in the fairest way. All the rights are in order.
- Cash is not always accepted
Before you start converting money into corners, keep this in mind. Cash is not taken everywhere. There will be a lot of shops and counters with signs. Be sure to have your cards on you and not rely entirely on cash.
