MLMT invites you to a timeless experience for your senses.
Japan is the burst of perfection oozing out of every takoyaki. Piping hot, full of flavor. Will leave you with eyes streaming and gasps of pure satisfaction moving your mouth. This is Japan. Future slathered heavily with the sauce of tradition. Cherry Blossoms reaching out to hold your hand. Sheltering you, embracing you. This is Japan. Manga jumping off the pages and joining you in your journey. It could not possibly get any better than this.
Japan is life sliced, ground and attached with exquisite perfection. It is years of patience and love poured by the liters into creating something beautiful.
When to visit?
The timeless country will welcome you whenever you feel like going but some months are better than others. Late spring months of March to May will bless you with the wondrous sight of cherry blossoms and the months of late autumn (September to November) will showcase to you clear skies and the crunch of dried, falling leaves. The colder months are the lowest regarding cost but are less appealing to a lot of people. But some say this is the time to experience Japan at its finest.
Average Cost per Person
Japan travel costs depend on the seasons and where you want to go. You can also reduce the cost lower as living and food costs can be minimalized. The exact values are difficult to calculate, but it would go to an average of 40,000 rupees per person for a 5-day trip. But this is the smallest number. Overall if you make a proper trip with airfare and all experiences calculated it would go up to about 80,000 rupees to 1 Lakh rupees.
Visa Requirements
The process of getting a Visa to Japan from India has become relatively more comfortable. It will require to keep aside about 3 working- business days to get the process entirely done. Stay aware of the fraud websites also operating the same tasks. The embassy will provide you with diplomatic and official Visa. Any other cases will be reviewed and checked by humanitarian grounds or particular attention.
Where to stay?
Tokyo:
Without even saying anything the name already invokes a neon-lit sky scene and a city that moves quicker than any technology. You can see the brilliance of the architects right away. The sumo matches and the bright cherries will give you Japan feel along with the future. Tokyo is the past and the future reaching their hands out to each other. The robot and pop culture in Tokyo are unmatched. You will find anything from saucer eyes robots to character models of all sorts.
The food scene here has the most Michelin stars than any others. The cuisine has been added to the UNESCO Intangible Heritage sites, and you will know exactly why when you taste the sizzle.

Kyoto:
For ultimate peace, look to Kyoto. The city is a shrine it with over 2000 temples and is a masterpiece of all things religion. Upon entering you will be immediately met with zen gardens and monuments than get all of your attention. A lot of eminent people in the country have their own little corners of admiration here.
The food scene here is entirely its own. Nishiki Market is filled to the top with fine dine, izayaka, cool sushi bars and more. Their cuisine, kaiseki, is a treat for the most developed of taste buds. Feast on tempura and ramen and matcha ice cream to reach level 1000 of satisfaction.

Osaka:
Osaka is that one brash friend you have that loves to shove you jokingly every half an hour. This was the city of the merchant classes. Things here move a little faster, and the people here are proud of their brash and playful behavior. It is not a pretty city in the most conventional of ways, but the personality gives it the kind of vibe that you love to follow. The love for food with the locals is humongous. In fact, their unofficial slogan is kuidaore, which means “eat until you drop.”

Nagoya:
This manufacturing monster truck is an exciting city indeed. Cities that are neglected by people, generally are. The town is always the middle child shadowed by the overwhelming presence of Tokyo and Kansai. A lot of Japanese people do not accept this city either. The city which comes with the reputation of being the most boring metro is actually full of fantastic museums and great shopping. It opens a direct box to Chubu’s mountains and splendid trips.

Nagasaki:
This name will give anyone the greatest of chills for the next eternity to come. The place that was the dropping point of an atomic bomb during the second world war will always be a constant source of horror for everyone. The citizens have since then done a lot to move on from here. Japan always bounces back fast.
The terror cannot be overlooked, but Nagasaki is vibrant and beautiful and is a hub for shrines and temples and monuments. It also has an extensive trading history.

Top Experiences
Naoshima
The small island town of Naoshima is the entire art zone. It has been dedicated and known for its museums. It is set in the Seto Inland Sea. A lot of the art that was installed here came from inspiration and work by the Benesse Foundation. It is quite a wide variety of experiences for one and all.
Ramen
With Japan, invariably comes Ramen. One just can’t know ramen. It has been one of the most revolutionary parts of modern Japanese Tradition. From Fukuoka in the west to Sapporo in the north, the taste changes but the love for it remains equivalent. There are now more versions of ramen recipes that can be counted.
Sumo
You say this, and you already have visuals. It is a Japanese form of full contact wrestling and is also the national sport of the country. This dates all the way back to the Edo period and is continuing just as actively right now. This will give you the most direct insight into the history and tradition of Japan.
Sake Tasting
A sincere suggestion would be to not try sake anywhere except for in Japan. At least not if you expect the best. Try your taste buds by visiting a sake bar or shop and try out various types. Take sake in like an experience. Feel the aroma of it, treat it to your eyes. The taste will be the most ultimate thing you will ever have. Sake is a 10/10 Japan experience.
Matcha
This green powder sprinkled all across Japan is a real treat. The idea of desserts is different in a lot of countries. Japan has a take on it like never seen before. Matcha is finely powdered and processed green tea leaves and what Japan does with it is inspiring. Try it as the original green tea or try it as a mousse or an ice cream. But try it for sure.
Travel Smart with these tips
Japanese traditions say a lot about the removal of shoes before entering a home or place of food. So, do not be surprised if they make you remove your shoes and place them in a shoe rack elsewhere. Some areas will tell you to remove them and keep them under the table. Make sure you wear socks, and your feet don’t stink.
Japan is a city that follows the rules. The people here take them very seriously. So, respect these things to have a comfortable stay here. That would mean no talking on the phone on public transport and no food or beverages. This would also say that no one should take priority seats that have been reserved for the old and pregnant women.
For all of you who have seen Hollywood movies showcasing the horrors of these toilets, beware. You will run into these at least a few times here. You will have options unheard of like seat heater and deodorizer and what not. But you will also run into the occasional squat toilet in temples and shrines too.
Tattoos are quite taboo here in Japan. Yes, they are getting more and more acceptable now, but there are still chances they will restrict your entry if you have a tattoo. A lot of hot springs and baths do not permit tattooed people to enter. So, carry tape to hide these, just in case.
