When to visit?
Monaco is its best, excited self in the spring or autumn. With their low prices and pleasant weather, they beg you to come. This lavish spread loses its wonder around November and March, but the prices drop below sea level in this more cooling season. The summer is the brightest here. The beaches will be overflowing. Restaurants will have you waiting for hours. But, these months will show you the true essence of Monaco.
Average cost per person
Without any doubt, it is quite evident that going to Monaco will require at least a small nugget of gold. Luxury does not come at a small cost. But rest assured this place really is worth it. But flight prices are relatively low. On an average, it can go to about 60,000 to 80,000 to travel without the flight.
Visa Requirement
Citizens walking in from India do need a visa to enter Monaco. The passport with at least three months before expiry is valid regarding application for Visa. Those who have a Schengen Visa get direct entry into the country. They do not require any specific Visa. The procedure for a short visit to Monaco is very similar to the Schengen process.
Where to stay?
Fontvieille:
Loud, excited Monaco shushes down right here in Fontvieille. When you come from partying across yachts everywhere and need a place to take a deep breath, this is where you go. Located in this area are the football stadium and the Princess Grace Botanical Gardens. It is a great mix of high-end rooms and cheap accommodation.
This beauty spot is a little bit tough to reach. It is a beautiful, long walk away from the central area of Monaco. You have to walk past the Port de Fontvieille and the Rocher de Monaco to reach the city.
Best Places to stay here
La Condamine:
The very essence of what Monte Carlo lies in La Condamine. It lies in the very center and is the heart of the place. Some of the biggest and brightest lie here. Like the Port Hercules. It is the only deep-water port in all of Monaco. It is a bay at the very foot of the rock of royalty.
It is also home to the very famous, Casino de Monte Carlo and Café de Paris. La Condamine has an array of the most luxurious hotels and the boutique, designer hotels spread around.

Larvatto
To the east of La Condamine lies one of the most cheerful and cold spots in all of the town. The area may seem quiet, but that is just because most people are busy splashing the beaches. The part is built around the only public beach in Monaco, Larvatto.
The area is loitered with small, tranquil private beaches. Sip on your cocktail, read a book in the solitude of these. Larvatto is a delightful place to be in.

Hilltops:
Monaco is a small piece of beauty. Its beauty is highlighted by a different vibe altogether. Just around the outskirts are these tiny, quaint and model perfect medieval villages that will have your heart in a bunch. Up the coast, there is Roquebrune Cap Martin, the seaside paradise.
There is Menton, a town just before the border. It is a treat on the eyes. To the other side is Cap d; Ail with its elegance and Eze, a town preserved beautifully. These towns give this glamorous place a movie like, unreal feel. Waking up, opening the window and looking at cobbled streets against turquoise water will have you smiling from corner to corner.

Moneghetti:
Keep your cameras ready and rolling because Moneghetti comes at you with some of the best views here in Monaco. Those coming in by train will probably run into this area first. Do not forget to explore this urban palace. It rises up the rock.
Because it is on top of the world, it is not the most accessible spot in Monaco. This is why you will get to explore the beauty on your own with very few to stare you down.

Top Experiences
Jardin Exotique de Monaco
This place cropped up in 1933 and is a must visit. It packs in an extensive collection of succulents and cacti all over the world. It is one of a kind. There are also museums to see stalactites and stalagmites. You can even get a panoramic view of Rocher and even Italy if squinted.
Casino
When in Monte Carlo, straighten out your tuxedo cuffs and order your martini because you are in store for a fantastic experience. Even just one night amidst the utter glamour and pizzaz of the casino is bound to make anyone doe eyes. The atmosphere is the perfect mix of exciting and vibrant.
Pavillons Monte Carlo
All those who played dress up as a child and grew up to be those people who play the role of shopaholics, this is the place to be. The rich and big who come to this city go to this place. This unreal store can dress a woman from tiara to heels.
Grand Prix
How can we talk about Monte Carlo and leave out the Grand Prix? This mega event is the biggest thing that happens here. People starting marking the date from months in advance. People all over come to witness this magnificent event. This event takes place in May. The F1 lovers will race her before anyone else.
Grace Kelly Tour
Grace Kelly is one of the leading ladies of this place. She became so after her marriage with Prince Rainier of Monaco in 1956. The area is filled with places to go from the Princess Grace Rose Garden to the Saint Nicolas Cathedral.
Travel Smart:
You might feel that you can walk around Monaco since it is not the most prominent place ever, but you couldn’t be more wrong. But the taxis are exuberant due to the minimums. To avoid this, you can travel by one of the city buses or the “Bateau Bus” It is an electric boat that leaves every 20 minutes. They are extremely easy on the pockets.
This classy area has its own style statement. You do not want to get into trouble for not wearing enough clothes or now allowed to come in because you aren’t dressed fancy enough. Do not wear beach type clothes while in the town area and check the dress codes before going to a place.
Monaco has the lowest poverty rates in the world. Maybe because they do not let residents gamble. It has also got a 99% literacy rate. Their systems are excellent but relaxed. Tipping is a choice for the visitor.
Do not hire a car here in Monaco. The roads get really congested around the peak times. Street parking is an alien term here. This will just be a nuisance instead of the relaxing feel you were going for.
