When to visit?

Brazil is one long festival of emotions. Each month has its different charm. The wettest months give rise to the best of the wildlife fest. But the months for November to March are the best for the party junkies. The carnivals here do not stop.  Decide your drug and go the month based on that.

Salvador:

Carnival

This is the most significant Brazilian experience and will always be. It is a 40-day long festival, and no one does it like Brazil. The most colorful and exquisite of all costumes and parades and sprinkles. Every region has its own customs and traditions.

Travel Safe with these tips 

• Hostel Safety

The people in Brazil are very concerned that you get to sleep safely in your dorm rooms. But this means the hostels might not have signs of indication most times. Checking on Google for cues is smart though. Past travelers generally post about it and hence make it visible.

• Mosquito population density

There are more mosquitos here than people. And they come in all shapes and sizes and can cause you so much harm. Try not to be in the red zone for malaria and yellow fever and wear full sleeves in evenings. You do not want to ruin your trip because of something as small as a mosquito.

• Avoid Tap Water

I think this is pretty much the best advice to take the first time you travel to a place. The tap water here might not harm you in the early few days and in a few particular areas but it will soon get to you, and that will be the end of your trip.

• Online Booking

If you try booking a flight online, there is a heavy chance that you will face issues. There are a lot of times where you will receive a message saying that the transaction is on hold. These problems can be solved, but one must know the implications of online fraud.
